I submitted their takehome and received seemingly positive feedback after a few hours, with a request to schedule a technical interview. However, they cancelled on the day of, one hour before the interview, citing problems with the quality of my submission. In general, companies can set whatever standards they want but I made it clear during the initial screening call that I had a tight schedule. I needed to work around the 1 hour technical which never came, and was cancelled with too short of a notice to book another appointment in its slot. The whole process of receiving feedback, then having it rescinded was very inauthentic and I wish they had taken the time to just reject me normally instead of ruining my schedule. 1. 30 min screening call 2. short homework assignment 3. 1 hour technical interview discussing (2) 4+. ???
