Standard phone screen. During the end of the interview they asked questions about my salary. They said they would need proof of income if I was chosen for the role. I thought it was tacky to say the least.
They have a specific set of questions they are looking for answers to, without considering whether they align with the profile the candidate is being interviewed for. This approach can lead to a mismatch in expectations, where the candidate’s actual skills and experience might not be fully assessed in the right context. Instead of evaluating a candidate holistically, the focus remains on predefined responses, which may not accurately determine their suitability for the role.
