I have applied for the position online on Jan 28th. I was acknowledged on Feb 2nd to initiate a telephonic discussion based on my availability. Later, to my reply with the feasible date/time windows, I have never heard back from Hiring manager regarding the further process, though the position was still open for next 30 days after multiple follow-ups. I have received an email again on March 2nd with the same content to send the feasible time/date for the initial discussion. Later to my reply, I got the response with the first round of discussion with Hiring Manager in a week of time. It was a great conversation and asked me to schedule the further discussion with a couple of leads from his team. Unfortunate thing of the whole process was to follow-up for everything from my side on the regular basis for every round of discussion to scheduling every round of discussion. The whole process starting from initial discussion to the third round of discussion took 4 weeks in March. Discussions went well and all the questions were qualitative. I strongly advise involving HR as part of Hiring manager which may help to close their open requisitions swiftly compared to the current state of being open for a quarter.
