I applied on Dec. 6 to the position and had a phone call with a recruiter on Dec. 18. The recruiter was great with keeping in touch via email with updates. I then had a virtual interview with the manager on Dec. 26. It was a very casual interview. However, I did not hear an update and continued to periodically email the recruiter for updates. I was told that the process was moving slowly because of the holidays and then because they did not know where in the process they were with this position. Finally, I received a generic decline email on Jan. 31. I definitely felt strung along and my nerves were fried by the end with hope for this position. The process was needlessly drawn out.
