The fastest and easiest hiring process amongst all companies I applied to. Screened by the HR after a week of application and was advised to expect at least two weeks for a schedule of the final interview. After two days, I received an invite for a panel interview, managers in the US, and they are very nice. Lasted 45 mins on the technical and behavioral interviews and 15 mins for me to ask questions. Job offer after two days.

I had an interview in July 2023. My first interview is with HR, followed by a final interview with the senior analyst and hiring manager. It's funny because after 2 days I got a message from HR saying that I passed everything and she'll let me know for the next stage, which is the offer stage. But after a week, I didn't get any news from her. I tried to follow up after 2 weeks but got no response. Then, after 3 weeks, someone I know who's working for this company tried to message her directly in their communication channel. That's when she replied and told my friend that the interview process was still going on. So I'm confused, because why did she tell me that I passed? She even congratulated me. So I waited again, and then in the first week of September, my friend tried to follow up again but got no response. That's why she directly messaged the team leader of that recruiter and told her what happened. After the conversation of my friend with the HR team leader, the recruiter messaged me and told me that she'd give me an answer by the end of the week. So I waited again. Friday comes; no message from her. Then, at midnight, which is already Saturday, she messaged me that I hadn't passed. I don't know if she's the one who decided that I didn't pass because we escalated her to her team leader. Or maybe it was the hiring manager. Shell is one of my dream companies, but because of what happened, I think I will never try again applying here. I hope Shell will improve the attitude of their recruiters. Give us the correct result, and don't give us false hope!
