One face-to-face with a Country PM lead. The interview was rather informal. Mostly on background check. Interviewer was not professional, had issues speaking in English (not his native tongue) but questionable since this role requires good communication skills and a hindrance in language capability seems odd. Interviewer does not seem to have sufficient work experience either and is definitely not technical. Unfamiliar with scrum framework and it’s uses etc. Interview felt more like a consumer behaviour meeting; interviewer was more interested in getting to know how I shop online than to actually assess skill set relevant for the role. Came down for an interview through a referral but felt like I’ve wasted both my time and my money. Wouldn’t recommend anyone.
