Everyone was very friendly and I got a great vibe from all the people I met. We started with an in-person chat with the CTO which felt very relaxed and friendly. In the next stage, they gave me a take home code project challenge that I got to later present on in person later which was very refreshing. Had a lot of fun with that! I then met the team just to talk briefly about what I do in my off-time so the team could get a feel for who I am as a person and vice-versa.

After a 20 minute chat over the phone with the CTO, he invited me to formally apply for the position. The first interview was a generic job interview with somebody from HR where I got a feel for the company and what they're looking for. I was then invited back for a technical interview, where I was asked to create an e-commerce site and present it to the development team. After that, I had a culture-fit interview with non-development members of the team which was quite casual. All interviews were done remotely over webcam, and the team made an effort to fit in with my existing work schedule, with some interviews early in the morning or the evening.
