I was informed that my qualifications don't meet the role, after basically 4 stages of the interview, that took me nearly a month.
I received an invitation for the interview some 10 days after I applied. We skipped the usual HR screening interview and went straight to the interview with the team leader, where I introduced myself, we went through my CV and work experience. Few days after that, I did an hour and half long technical test, which I completed, and another phase of the interview was scheduled for the week after. The final interview I had was an hour long, it was with the director of product support and the same team leader, but the director was the one who asked the majority of the questions. The questions were mostly situational/behavioral, and at no point my qualifications were a subject of the conversation so I was pretty surprised when, a week after, I received a rejection email where that was noted as the main reason. I am just shocked by their audacity and arrogance and I don't see the motif for them to drag me through the whole interview process, if I wasn't a suitable candidate from the beginning. It's just a waste of time and effort, I regret even applying for this role.
