A Pleasant Interview Experience 3 Things I Liked About My Interview with Solunus 1. The Interview Began on a Very Positive Note A representative from the HR department took the first round of the interview; he greeted me, and then, asked me a few questions about my education and professional experience. Thereafter, he told me that the head of the company’s marketing department would connect with me in a couple of days. He was very professional and courteous, and I got an impression that he perfectly understood the hiring need. 2. A Very Good Understanding of The Candidate’s Abilities Another thing that impressed me was the interviewer’s excellent understanding of my abilities. He asked me very pertinent questions about my professional achievements and plans for the future. I’m sure he has taken time to comprehensively research my profile on LinkedIn to assess my suitability for the job. It shows the methodical approach they follow to evaluate potential employees. 3. The Interview Was Conducted on Dot The head of marketing connected with me at the designated time, two days later. He started the interview saying it would take about 30 minutes and if I was okay with it. He then proceeded with the interview and completed it exactly after a half hour. I was pleasantly surprised by this, as many interviewers I interacted with earlier showed scant respect for my time. I could immediately figure out I was interacting with a person who is thoroughly professional.
