This is is long but worth the time to read. Sonic interviews are conducted by phone then in person for 2nd interview. Honestly, I agree to what others have comment on. This place seems to be for those who are young to not know better to see the BS ways of running the tech support dept. There's definitely a feel of cronyism at sonic. After two separate interview occasions, I feel I had wasted my time. I would have accepted any offerings that would lead to a network career but was rejected twice by the same conducting 2nd wave of interviews. I do not know what else I need to have in my resume to get hired. I have 13+ years of customer/office experience which includes working in call centers. I have an A.S. in electronics with IT support certifications. So my question is, what else was I missing to be considered a good candidate. In fall '15, I was interviewed by two recruiters. I thought I had performed great, since I came in for a 2nd interview. Both of them asked interesting questions. Read the interview questions below for more info. In about 3-4 minutes of interviewing, I was denied by 2nd interviewer. It ended in a somewhat cold manner. The 2nd interviewing occasion was with new a recruiter. Both recruiters me on 1st occasion had resigned due to disagreement with recent changes. First interview was conducted. Again, 1st interview for this 2nd occasion went great & was asked to come in for 2nd interview. I was even complimented as being a good candidate which is now confusing. It was again set up with the same 2nd interviewer from before. New recruiter gave me tips of the Dos and Don'ts for the questions the 2nd interviewer will be asking. I did their assessment test again. While finishing the test, recruiter back came to tell me that 2nd interviewer is not able see me today. He said something like this: "We are experiencing a network outage and cannot see you because the problem needs to be resolve immediately. Anyways, you do not want to be interviewed by.... .with a bad mood. It would be better for you to reschedule. I will send you an email with dates to choose from". Well folks, I did get an email but it was what I had feared. What recruiter said: Good Morning (my name mentioned)– I just got word from .......that he is going to be moving forward with other candidates in the pipeline for this position. He did not go into too much detail, but said that there were other applicants that better fit his vision for the role. I am sorry for the news (my name mentioned), I enjoyed meeting with you the other day. Best of luck to you in your career search - As mentioned, I was confused. the new recruiter said I was a good candidate. I do not know what else I need to have in my resume to get hired. I have 13+ years of customer/office experience which includes working in call centers. I have an A.S. in electronics with IT support certifications. So my question is, what changed their minds to then say the opposite in the email sent to me. ON A LAST NOTE: This was just plain lame and disrespectful. I lost money by taking the day off instead of partial day off. I spent money and time preparing to do what it takes to land the job this time around. I FEEL I WAS DISCRIMINATED. For the manner in which they sent me away, I no longer have respect for this establishment. They could have at least pretended and finish it out of respect for my time and money wasted.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

      1. How do you react if someone was chosen over you for a promotion you were more qualified for? 2. In a condescending manner, second interviewer asked, " So why do you want to work for a network company?"

I've applied to sonic before when I was younger and was declined because of my probable lack of experience. Interviewers were kind of rude but I was younger and had little to no work experience and was cool with it. Additionally, I had some friends tell me it's a very nice job with forwarding growth in the company and the ability of lateral movement within it. I got work experience and re-applied a few years later. The HR interview meeting was a great time over the phone. However, when I went into the virtual meeting I talked to the hiring manager and associate they were pretty rude. Sometimes they would laugh at my response even mocking me mid-interview. It felt like they were questioning my reasoning for even interviewing with them. It seemed like I was already declined before I even entered the meeting. One example What would you do if a customer was being difficult towards? My response is "Be kind and courteous to them and try and help them out to the best of my abilities. I also have a lot of experience dealing with this and I use a lot of my hr training to help me out with this". His response condescendingly was "Yeah clicking boxes are helpful" After reading some of the other interview reviews I won't be applying again. Seems like a bad hiring team and I got off lucky with my experience...

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

What are your Weaknesses? What would you do if a customer was being difficult towards? Where do you see yourself in 3 years? So why do you want to work for a network company? If you couldn't have any job what would it be? What was something you didn't like about your previous job? Why are you even applying here?

If you have a referral, I find it easy to get in to Sonic. They often take referrals before anything else, and if your referral is a diligent employee they'll ultimately affiliate you with that as well.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

They ask very typical questions. Why do you want to work here? What are your hobbies? Your strengths and weaknesses?
