J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez SpotOn (Kraków) en avr. 2023
Entretien
Before each phase the candidate specifies time availability via some calendar like tool. First phase was standard 30 min call with HR recruiter in polish (short english speaking check). Nothing special. Second phase is a 2-2.5h online technical interview with some live coding. It was supposed to be in english, but most of it was in polish. There were 2-3 developers/interviewers present (1 observer). It started with a live coding session which took about an hour. The coding was performed via a website coding tool which is basically a notepad with functionality that test your solution. No autocomplete, nothing. They expect you to know the APIs by memory even if you work all life with autocomplete in IDE. They want you to Google documentation if you can remember the API. You get couple problems to solve. Very frustrating coding environment this tool is. You can't really concentrate on the problem. The problems are rather easy. Second part consist of technical questions about Java or Kotlin (whatever you select), Android, design patterns, clean architecture, testing. Standard questions. The problem is how they are asked. They are very general. For example 'Do you know Clean architecture?' and they expect you to say everything you know on the topic i guess. Another was 'What Design patterns do you know?' and i listed basically all standard patterns, but they didn't even check if i really know them. I could just know the names and thats it. In the end you get zero feedback from interviewers about how it went. They only tell you the HR will contact you with feedback, but the only feedback you really get is that you passed to the next phase or not. If you don't pass you get nothing, At the end of technical interview you have like 30 min to ask them questions about project/company etc. Last phase was supposed to be some interview/culture fit with a manager, but i didn't reach it.
Interview was very quick and smooth, checked nicely understanding of programming, not particular solutions, or asking some edge case scenarios which you had to stumble upon to know them, like many companies does.

Question 1
They were pretty good, some coding + theoretical questions.
