This interview highlighted the fact that any CRM (Cultural Resource Management - AKA public/government contract archaeology) was going to be very physical work. The interview also highlighted my past experiences as an archaeologist. I was assured that promotions as well as cross-functional opportunities between departments at Stantec were real possibilities, but in reality this never panned out for me or any of my peers.

Past experience - what was a time that you experienced difficulty in the field, and how did you get past it?
Phone + career fair, submitted resume at career fair and then had a phone interview closer to field season with a permit holder. Phone was about 30 minutes, there was time to ask them questions too. Focus was on experience in field
