I applied online for Underwriter Assistant and Claims processor. The first step was a personality and typing test that took approximately 2 hours total. Once the passing results were received (same day) I was scheduled for the "interview" which ultimately was 1 on 1 with a recruiter in HR. The recruiter stated he would recommend me for a manager's interview. The following week I interviewed with 3 panel members of management from underwriting. They then recommended a Claims interview. I returned later the same week to interview with 2 claims managers. I received a conditional job offer pending the background. After the drug test but during the time lexis nexis was conducting my background investigation, HR called requesting that I return to state farm for another test as the last interviewers recommended me for a professional position. The jury is still out on this...

The process took about six weeks. First, there was a self recorded video interview to predetermined questions and once completed it would be reviewed. Then a call with the recruiter was the final step.
