The process was very friendly and stress-free. After a short interview, I was asked to do a three-hour paid trial. After I finished, my piece was critiqued and I went on to be hired as a freelancer.

Did I have experience with Slack, WordPress, and/or Trello?
The interview process was quick. You have a phone call and then write a test article, which takes a few hours. You do get paid for writing the article, though.

Most of the interview was done through submitting samples. I then had a phone call with an interviewer. It was audio-only. I was then hired on probation and assigned to an editor.
