Went through 4 rounds of interviews only to be ghosted at the very end. First interview was a Zoom call with their HR recruiter. Second interview was a virtual call with the marketing manager and then a take home data analysis assignment afterwards. Third interview was with another team member and the last was with the VPs of the firm in person at their office. The entire process was very quick with all interviews taking place in March. All rounds went very well and I was guaranteed a decision by the first week in April and then nothing. Completely ghosted. I believe this was because they did not want to offer fair pay. The recruiter intentionally kept hiding the salary range each time I asked but wanted me to provide a number so I could low ball myself. Typical unprofessional corporate games and BS. Any company that does this is not one you'd want to work for. I should've known at the moment of take home assignment. Never ends well.
