      Entretien pour Senior Systems Engineer (DevOps)

      J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Stuart (Barcelone) en janv. 2021

      Entretien

      1) Initial HR Call (few days after applying) 2) First tech interview (after waiting almost two weeks).
 3) After a month, they contacted me again saying that "something happened by mistake and that's why we took too long to reply". Felt like an excuse but I received a technical task anyway.
 4) The technical task was to SSH to a EC2 box and perform several tasks. They were about solving UNIX related issues, create an Ansible playbook to spin up Docker & K3S, Kubernetes manifest to deploy MySQL, Dockerfile creation for deploying a GO application. They mentioned that can be done in 2 hours and time wasn't a constraint. However, they came back to me saying that the test was perfect but I took more than 2 hours which didn't make any sense, as well as saying that I performed several attempts when trying to resolve UNIX tasks, which is what a normal engineer does when trying to resolve production issues.

 TL;TR: - Very long and time consuming process - Slow and unprofessional way to evaluate candidates - Don't waste your time or don't take them very serious. - Take this company as a practice session only

      Question 1

      In the first interview: talk about your experience in AWS, tools that you've used, etc. They also asked me 5 tech questions related to UNIX and asked me to explain which was the result of a BASH script they had, which had a tricky behaviour.
