You'll submit a very brief application on the website (it asks for 2 writing samples) and then Mark (the Editor-in-Chief) will contact you and have you pitch and write a sample piece under deadline. If you're hired, there's a follow-up call where you'll discuss the internship with Mark.

Brief email communication then brief and easy one phone call with Mark explaining the internship. Asked normal questions. Talked like we were friends. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Very nice guy.
