J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Subway (Phoenix, AZ) en oct. 2013

      Entretien

I walked in with an application I already printed out and filled in prior to coming in to an open interview that the manager had ever Monday from 2-4. She was sitting at one of the tables in the back while the Artists were still doing their jobs. I walked over to her and told her my purpose for coming and she had me sit down while she looked over my application. Her hat was off and she had yet to give me a warm smile, but I did not think much of it. While I was silently waiting for her, I noticed the push of up-selling done by the other employees. I could tell that it was important that they do that in front of the boss because when the customer turned it down, it was left alone- as if simply to satisfy the manager sitting right in front of me. When she was done looking it over, she asked me a few questions such as, "What do you think you do when you work here?" and I answered "Make sandwiches, prep food, wash dishes-" and she interrupted me to stress the cleaning. She explained that cleaning was especially important. Cleaning the dishes, the tables, the wall boarders, the fake plants, everything. "Oh.. yeah, definitely..." I responded taken back by the instance she had to make sure I understood. She continued to ask me questions about my interests in Subway, my qualities, typical interview questions. Every time I explained my answer, she would never make eye contact, she would always look behind me- I assume at the door to see the amount of customers coming in. When she tried to sound interested she talked to me like I was stupid- which I believe was just her personality, because other Subway interviews were the same without this tone. Eventually, after my first interview, she said "I like you, let me go get the paperwork" and disappeared into the back. So I figured I got the job, and when she returned with a shirt, a visor, and an apron, my thoughts were confirmed. I signed things, dated things, and shook her hand. She'd give me a call and that was that.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

She asked every question that comes up on "how to answer interview questions" articles, but she also asked "How often do you eat at Subway?" which was the only thing out of the ordinary that I noticed.

Very simple and straightforward. Normal questions like availability, have you worked in food service before, etc. I think it depends on location though since friends at other locations have had more substantive or less substantive interviews.
