Sumo was very thorough in their process. There was the initial application that had a series of fairly simple questions that one would expect from an interview. What followed was an "Account Executive Challenge" which consisted of several questions that were more difficult, as well as the task of creating a website and installing Sumo (which turned out to be a very helpful step). What followed were fairly standard interview processes. There was a phone screen, a pitch product pitch via webcam, and an in-person interview. Overall the process was outstanding. It was exciting going through the steps that some would consider more difficult or unconventional, because I felt like Sumo was determined to protect their culture and their brand. I appreciate that.
