Svitla's recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn, after that, we had a 30 minutes phone screening. following it I had a technical interview with Svitla's engineers and another 2 people from HR it took about 1 hour.
Following that, I had to complete a coding challenge within 24 hours to send the code sample and was told that I should wait for the client's feedback.
After a week I had my first interview with the client, it runs around 1 hour and it was around fit and culture.
Then finally I had the last interview that also took another hour and was walking through my code exercise, where I should explain my decisions and how I get into the solution of the exercise. In addition, we talk about Front-end skills.
After a week I had an update that I moved to the final selection and it was between me and another candidate and would know the final decision no more than a week.
Two weeks after they contact me saying that they decide to offer tho another candidate. I thanked them for the effort and forget about it.
But then the weird thing happens, Svitla's recruiter contacts me again by the following day asking me if I could go a little bit lower on my salary expectations.
Has very odd since I was not selected, but still, I reply that maybe if the benefits were attractive.
Then she never wrote me back... pass another week and I contacted her again just to know what has happened,
She replies saying that the client still but did not have a final decision yet.
After that, I decided that already had expended over two months in the process and wasn't not up to be wasting more of my precious time.
Anyway, never heard from them after a month since the last email.
My advice, don't waste your time.
Very unprofessional, amateur, and sloppy.
