It was one of the best recruitment processes I've experienced. It began with an HR call, where I learned about the company and the role. Next was a technical interview with the Head of Frontend and the Engineering Manager. They asked about my experience, explained the company culture, and outlined the engineering team's work. Then, I tackled a series of progressively challenging tasks, with a lot of time for my questions at the end. The interview was well-structured, and the interviewers were friendly and supportive throughout.
The final step was a behavioral interview with the Product Owner and Frontend Engineering Manager, which gave me deeper insight into what they’re looking for and gave me another chance to ask questions. While the feedback loop between interviews was longer than usual, it was well communicated, so it wasn’t an issue for me.
What stood out was their personalized approach and genuine focus on finding a good teammate. Unlike many other processes, there were no automated assessments, third-party platforms, or lengthy take-home tasks. I wish more interviews were like this!
