Interview process for recruiter screen and hiring manager was pleasant and what you would expect. Ghosted entirely by recruiter. Admittedly for hiring manager interview I attempted to push through a migraine and did not bring my best self, however I did follow up and address that directly in favor of being transparent and expressing the desire to rectify that. After a quick reply from recruiter acknowledging my email, stating he would follow up with me, never heard from them again. I get it, I crashed and burned rolling the dice instead of rescheduling post migraine, but a simple - no thank you - email goes a long way. Frustrating that Interviewees cannot make mistakes and acknowledging them straight on is not valued but recruiters can consistently drop the ball in follow-ups because grace is given by default.
