Applied online and received a request less than 48 hours to have a phone screen with a Finance recruiter. We talked a week later for 30 minutes and had a very cordial and very productive conversation. The only negative was in the beginning, when she asked why I was interested in T Rowe Price careers in Baltimore when I lived in the West Coast, especially since I had no friends or family. I tried to answer as best as I could (opportunities like this one are few and far between), but this ultimately was my undoing. Rather than schedule another phone interview or video chat, they went into Workday and sent me the stock/generic rejection saying they were going with "more qualified" candidates. This, despite Workday's algorithm selecting my resume in the first place based on qualifications.
