1. Submitted a CV & application form.
2. Invited by email to complete online psychometric (verbal & numerical reasoning) & personality tests
3. Completed a sort of online orientation, basically explaining that you work in an outsourcing company, the rules are strict, etc. Are you fully aware what this is ? type thing
4. Brief Phone screen confirming a few things.
5. Asked to submit a covering letter in French that same afternoon (the role required fluent French)
6. Onsite interview with a team leader and a trainer. This included a brief role play of a pre sales call in French. Mostly looking for one to ask lots of questions.
They were perfectly pleasant and gave feedback straight away on the role play. Interviewer praised my French, which was flattering.
The building is a serious pain to enter, there isn't even a bell for visitors to ring.
I received a two line email response from the in-house recruiter the next day saying I had not been chosen. This sort of pissed me off as I had put 6-10 hours into all of the above over a short space of time. I requested more feedback but was told they don't want to give any. Pushed the point legally.
A week later I received a callback from a different recruiter saying that the position I had originally applied for wasn't being hired. However, one was available on an English language team and they were impressed by me. Would I be willing to start just a week later ?
