Online application with CV and cover letter. Followed by a phone interview with HR. Next, it was a face-to-face meeting with HR and one of the founders, with the same exact questions as the phone interview.

I applied online and got an email from the recruiter after about 3 days. The first step was a video interview with the recruiter, where I was asked the standard basic questions. After the interview, the recruiter said "I have no issue progressing you to the second stage, well done" - 9 days later I received a generic rejection e-mail with no explanation why. Not professional.
