I interviewed for a contract position via Black Diamond. While the recruiter was my point of contact, the internal Takeda hiring team’s scheduling was highly unprofessional.
First Round: The hiring manager was a no-show for the first attempt. I waited 10 minutes before having to contact the recruiter. The rescheduled interview was then canceled just 10 minutes before the start time.
Second/Third Round: The team scheduled two back-to-back rounds on a Thursday and Friday. The Thursday interview was canceled at 8:30 a.m. (30 minutes prior) due to 'travel delays.'
The Aftermath: Following the scheduling chaos, I was kept in limbo for nearly six weeks with conflicting information about whether they would reschedule or hire based on previous rounds. Eventually, I was told the position was canceled due to internal restructuring.
