Cool company, great product sense. Great founders. Relatively standard interview process. Building something very cool - the future of AI agents. Very impressed by their capability. The company currently consists of a very small team located in SF

It was relatively time-consuming-- a phone screen followed by an interview process with six different people that took most of the afternoon.
Weirdest interview I have ever had. Everyone was deeply stressed out, one interviewer was agitated and kept drumming his hands on the table, and three out of the six appeared to have not looked at my resume or organized any questions. Most of them praised the “hero culture” in their organization-- as if this were a positive rather than a significant obstacle for the organization to overcome if it wants to scale. This was a major red flag for me.
Anyway, no replies to my thank you emails. No follow-up of any kind. It was weird. HR really needs to think about the impression they make on qualified candidates who take a significant amount of time out of their busy schedules to interview with them. This is not professional.
