This company makes you learn their entire product before joining. They make you set up your own instance, complete an integration and expect you to give recommendations on their product. The intensity of expecting someone to know your solutions before working at your company is not normal. The amount of time and effort that went into this process above and beyond.

My interview process consisted of four rounds: an HR screening, a meeting with the hiring manager, an interview with the Director of Customer Success, and finally, a panel interview.
Everything seemed fairly standard until the final stage. The panel interview included a 90-minute case study, requiring both a full presentation and a custom product demo. While I appreciate detailed assessments, this process felt excessive and inefficient—especially given the compensation offered.
The case study required building a deck and creating an integrated demo with limited documentation and support. Despite investing significant time, I received negative feedback from the hiring manager for not presenting it “correctly,” though the instructions were unclear.
I would not recommend this process for experienced professionals, particularly those already working full-time. The amount of unpaid preparation work doesn’t align with the salary range or level of transparency expected. Additionally, the hiring manager lacked a strong technical background, which made the evaluation criteria feel inconsistent.
Overall, the interview process needs major improvement. The structure and expectations do not effectively assess a candidate’s real-world skills or communication abilities.
