J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Target (Pasadena, CA) en oct. 2011

      Entretien

I applied online and 2 days later I got a call to come in for an interview the next day. I completed a questionnaire at the kiosk first. It was all "What would you do in this situation.." type questions. I picked the best thing to do in a given situation and the worst thing to do. After that, I waited for my interview for maybe 10 minutes because I got there early. There were other people there getting interviewed, possibly for the same position and different positions. I don't know who interviewed me first, but he was a younger guy. He went over some things on my application, mostly checking my availability. Then he asked around 5 questions - the same exact questions that people have written about here. I can't recall what they were but one of them was about my previous experience related to this job, and talking about a time I had to work in a group to accomplish something. They want to know the situation, what you did, and the outcome. He was writing down all my answers like others have said. After that interview, I waited for my next one. Apparently the person who was supposed to interview me wasn't there, so I was interviewed by the HR lady. She was nice and pretty much asked me the same questions, with a few different ones. Again, they were the same ones that people have posted on here. After the interview, she told me that they had more interviews to get through that day. If they wanted to offer me a position, they would call in 3-4 days. If they didn't want to offer me a position, I'd receive an email in 3 days. That was that. I didn't think I got the job simply because I have no job experience. My interviews were at the very least decent, but it sounded like there were lots of other more qualified candidates. And people have said that after their interviews, they were offered a job on the spot by someone in HR. I figured I didn't get it since I was just interviewed by the HR person herself. However, later that night, I got a call that they were offering me the job and told me to come in in 3 days to go over.. paperwork? I honestly didn't really hear what I was supposed to come in for because I was so excited; I just knew I had to come in for something. So on that day I went in and I signed something stating that I knew the job was conditional and seasonal. I got the information on where to get drug tested within 24 hours. I was told that depending on when my drug test and background check cleared, I'd get notified of my orientation date. I took the drug test the same day. 2 days later I got an email telling me about when and where to go for orientation, which was 2 weeks away. Your best bet on getting the job is to practice all the questions people have posted on here. They're literally word for word. I studied tons even though they only asked a few, but I really felt prepared. I think my interview would have been a disaster had I not practiced. This was my first job interview and I had no job experience prior. When they asked me questions about my experience and other situations, I used my experiences in school, so you can do that. I think it also helped a lot that since it's nearing the holidays, they really needed a lot of people. As long as you seem normal and smart enough, you should be able to get the job. I think it depends on other things too, like how much they need people and the people interviewing you. The two people who interviewed me were very nice and friendly. I felt very comfortable around them. It was actually more nervewracking waiting for the interviews to start than the interviews themselves. Practice the questions you see here!

This was a few years ago, but I just went in and spoke with the manager in their office. Very casual and quick interview. Only 1 interview was required which was nice!

It was very quick and I was hired on immediately. I was a college student going to TAMU Galveston at the time. The team was pretty easy going but just not there to help me grow as an individual.
