I was referred by a friend, after a week or so I received a phone call from a recuiter which was a pleasant experience. After that I had 1:1 interviews with store managers the first interview went very well, the second store manager came with a very bad attitude in other words she came with the "This job is not for you attitude". I finished the inverview process and did my best. I later realized that one of the other candidates was good friends with one of the store managers which means she got the job.
Over all it was a decent real life experience. Contacts will get you a job.
