      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Target (Pittsburgh, PA) en mars 2013

      Entretien

Target has a ridiculously long interview process. I had one phone pre-screen with an HR recruiter from corporate (Minnesota). Then, I had to complete a 2-hour, online test with personality, logic and math questions. Next, I had a separate phone interview with same HR recruiter, followed by in-person interview with district pharmacy manager. Finally, I had a phone interview with the district store leader (not a pharmacist).

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

None. If you prepare for situational/behavioral questions using the STAR method and keep your answers specific and concise, you will likely do well.

      Candidature

Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Target (Houston, TX) en sept. 2011

      Entretien

I applied online and received an email from a HR recruiter the very next day to set up an initial phone interview. This first interview was 30-45 minutes in length and consisted mainly of questions to ascertain whether or not I met the basic requirements for the position. After this initial interview I was instructed to complete an online questionnaire that asked mostly basic situational based questions regarding work ethic and decision making. There were also "mathematical puzzle" type questions at the end. Within a day, my next interview was schedule for the following week with the Store Team Leader (Store Manager). Since she was unable to make it, I ended up having a phone interview with the Pharmacy Business Partner (Pharmacy District Manager). This interview consisted mostly of situational based questions, such as "Name a situation in which you had to give bad news to a superior?" A couple of days after this interview, I was scheduled for an in-person interview with the District Team Leader (District Manager). This interview followed a similar format to the previous interview with an emphasis on situational questions that had mostly to do solving conflicts and difficult management situations. A couple of days afterwards, I was scheduled for my final interview with the Group HR Manager (Regional HR Manager). This interview was conducted over the phone and was shorter than the previous two interviews. Again, I was asked to describe situations in which I had to deal with issues or show management skill. Three days after my final interview i was offered the position. Be knowledgeable about Target and show enthusiasm throughout the process. The Target HR department was incredibly flexible and easy to work with.
