Got an intro with a very nice talent acquisition guy. He said a lot of nice things about the company and how cool the CEO is. Said I'd be a great fit for the role and for the company culture. I was honestly quite excited about the opportunity although they are paying much less than other companies in Vancouver. Was a pretty long and positive conversation and he ended up with "I'll send you an invite for the next interview with one of our developers from that team" Never heard back from them. I sent two followup emails to that guy to see what are our next steps and whether we continue this process or not - no answer. I would say I dodged a bullet. If that's how they treat their candidates I cannot imagine what it would be to work there. Phew
