J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris plus de 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Teach for America en oct. 2009
Entretien
First there is an online application (Basic information, resume, letter of intent - detailed information is given on the website). Second, if selected to move on, there is a phone interview (questions about your interest in TFA's mission, about your resume, things to get to know you better) or you can bypass it directly to the final day-long interview. If you make it to the final day long interview, beforehand you read the prereadings, prepare a 5 minute sample lesson plan, prepare all the required documents (official transcript and I-9, etc), have your recommenders complete their forms and make your selections for the assignment/grade level/subject preference form.
The interview was relaxed and they were certainly there to help. They made it clear they would help you through the whole process of becoming a teacher with your own mentor guiding you.
