You have to go through a 2 day assessment which includes medicals, fitness and aptitude tests. Once completed you are required to attend and pass a 14 week phase 1 training package before moving on to trade training.

Easy, then take anyone who isn't on drugs.
They do also employ a lot of the snowflake generation now too, as they are trying to be all inclusive.
The interview was in the form of a weekend away, running around and being shouted at. You have to pass the fitness test, a medical, a short interview and some little command tasks. Oh and there's an online aptitude test.

Lengthy process. Mainly about your physical ability i.e how fast can you run 1.5 miles and push ups sit ups in 2 minutes. Consists of a BARB test which isused too acertain which jobs you should go into.
