I applied online and got an email the next day to set up a phone interview. Had a phone interview with the regional manager 2 days later and the interview lasted 20 minutes; basically ensuring I had the qualifications for the job. My second interview was with the assistant store manager with more detailed interview, situational questions, and more about my experience. I was contacted again the following day to set up a final interview with the front end manager. Interview basically touched up on everything and what I would be doing. Interview went well and i was contacted via email to do a background check and was given my starting pay.

The first step of the interviewing process was very simple. The second interview was a completely different story. That being said it was probably the worst experience I've had. With in 60 seconds they managed to insult what I do for a living (Chipotle) saying "I don't know what they do, I don't eat at places like that" "I don't eat at places like that!" while saying that he had a look on his face of pure disgust. Pretty much looking down on me for even working for Chipotle, that it was beneath him. Following that comment the other man made a negative political statement saying "Oh but I hear Hillary Clinton does" then they continue to laugh and insult what I do and where I work. After they made it clear that my job is disgusting and that they're republicans and hated Hillary Clinton they managed to insult me further by asking me questions that were implying I wasn't a good fit for the position I was applying for. I kindly said I was open for other areas of employment but they seemed to already have that figured out for me saying they want me to be in the Deli department. This interview did't last more than 6 minutes. I will NEVER refer anyone to apply or even shop at The Fresh Market. Worst experience ever. And if you're a woman.. FORGET about working there or having any respect. I even went as far as complaining to their HR department.
