After an initial interview with an internal recruiter I met with 8 different individuals over 2 weeks; interviews were scheduled mostly for 1 hour and one was 30 minutes. The recruiter checked in with me halfway through the process. A little over 2 weeks after the last interview I received a generic email (clearly copied and pasted) from the recruiter indicating they chose another candidate. After the amount of time, effort, and seniority of the role I would have expected the courtesy of a phone call.
