I interviewed with what I assumed to be the CEO and definitely left the interview with a bad taste in my mouth. Not only did she rush/cut me off pretty much every time I answered one of her questions, she actually ignored me for a total of 3-5 minutes mid-interview so she could respond to some texts while I just awkwardly sat there on the other side of the zoom call. After the rushed interview she said that I seem to be a great fit/candidate for the role, and to follow up with her afterwards if I was serious/wanted the position. However, after getting a taste of her dismissive personality, I couldn’t imagine how unpleasant it must be working for her, and after reading the employee reviews afterwards, I think I received that confirmation. Definitely won’t be following up.
