it was brief and quite surface level but okay, the trial shift however was intense and stressful and other staff were unhelpful, also trial shift was unpaid, not even travel

Chilled interview with the general manager. He asked me about my background in hosptitality and then I had to do a trial shift for a couple of hours. During the trial shift I was mentored by a Head waitress.

Just general conversation at the beginning. Then he asked me about my background in hosptiality and other questions such as why I would be a good fit for the job. I was also asked about my hours and availability seeing as the shifts can tend to end quite late.
