Very focused on unit testing as they understand QA roles as the one to be responsible on this, with very limited open mind to consider other QA style of doing em things

I was contacted via LinkedIn, saying that they liked my profile and my experience and that I'd be great for this QA Architect role. 1st interview was with the recruiter, over the phone. Everything went well and on that same day I got an e-mail asking about my availability for a second technical interview. 2nd interview was the technical. Straight to technical questions, no questions around my experience. The interview lasted about 1h30m and he was particularly interested in things that were not part of the job description such as CI/CD experience, TDD, automation frameworks, programming languages and so on. These things were not even mentioned in the job description. The interview went well and I exhaustively answered any questions that he had, giving him a lot of details around my though process and decision making. He seemed very pleased with my answers. 3 days later I got an e-mail from the recruiter saying that they won't pursue the process due to lack of technical testing experience on my part (which was not part of JD). Feedback for the company: Make sure you have more than one person in the interview to better assess the interviewee's experience and bring more points of view into the discussion thus ensuring objectivity and a 360 view. Also, update your JD to better reflect what you are looking for instead of providing a vague list of requirements that are not even that important at the time of the technical interview.
