The process was highly unprofessional and transactional. The recruiter arrived late to our scheduled meeting and lacked professional polish. Despite my extensive background in senior retail leadership and deep brand loyalty, no questions were asked regarding my experience, my existing clientele in the local market, or my fit for the role.
The conversation focused immediately and exclusively on base pay. When I requested a salary $5k above their initial offer, the recruiter stated it "wasn't worth the conversation" and abruptly ended the call. There was zero effort to discuss the total compensation package, including bonuses, commission, or clothing allowances. For a premium brand, the recruitment experience was dismissive and lacked basic professional courtesy.

I really enjoyed 5 the interviews I had January and March. However, l did not appreciate the lack of feedback or timely follow up. Networking is a relationship and requires an investment. Not even the courtesy of a simple rejection letter.

After submitting my resume for the 2nd time, a year later I was contacted by the District Manager. Scheduled interviewed, then it was rescheduled. Interview went well, followed up a week later, then I was contacted my the recruiter, another great interview. A week has passed and I've heard nothing else.
