I heard back quickly from the recruiter and a standard phone interview. I then interviewed with the hiring manager and then a panel afterward (this took place in the span of 2 weeks). They told me they would get back to me by the end of the week after my interview, but they ended up ghosting me (despite multiple follow-ups) for about a month before telling they went with another candidate. Communications were really good up until they became indecisive. It would have been better to be rejected outright.
