The whole interview process took me 4 weeks.
1. I applied online and contacted by a recruiter for a telephonic interview to get know about Toast, my skills, my interests, etc. The recruiter scheduled for Technical Telephonic interview.
2. During the Telephonic technical interview, Interviewer gave me a problem to solve it using Javascript, HTML, and CSS. It went well and I received an update next day for onsite. I told the interviewer that I am very much comfortable with one of the Javascript framework.
3. Onsite interview- consists of 5 rounds of interview. 1st round is very good, I enjoyed. it involves Front end technical stack. Here, They asked me to write code in other Javascript framework which I am new and I told them way before my onsite scheduled. I guess interviewers did not know about my skill set or they did not see my resume. But I had only a few days of experience with other JS framework.
4. From 2nd to 5th round of interview- It's all about discussion, only talking...I was bored from here onwards. I am a person who wants to solve/write code.
5. In my final round, The person who interviewed was sleeping while I was talking...I demotivated and felt bad.
Here is my 2 cents- Instead of 2-5th rounds interviews, It would be good to have Data Structures, Javascript, HTML and CSS interviews. I strongly believe 1 round for manager/behavioral is good.
At the end of the day, I was too tired after talking too much.
