Everything about this experience was weird and offputting. The one-way interview was incredibly uncomfortable and ineffective. During one of the questions the screen froze and when it came back, it told me that it would count as a skip for that question. The salary of 100-110k for a product manager role is a little alarming as well. I’d say that it skews on the lower end for a Product Manager role requiring 3-5 years of experience, particularly with the technical focus on APIs, SQL, and data visualization tools. if you are considering working with this team, I would only advise somebody to take this role but continue looking for something that's going to pay you what you're worth.

I received an email asking to schedule a call. I provided my availability via the provided link, and then I received another email asking me to complete assessments and to come to an in-person interview. I emailed the recruiter and asked if we would have our call as discussed in the first email. The recruiter responded and said that they prefer the in-person interview. I told them I was unavailable for the in-person interview as I was going to be out of town, but thanks for the consideration. A few weeks later, I received another email asking for a phone call. I had that call, but it was cut short as my salary requirements were too high. We would have saved a lot of trouble if they had posted a salary range.
