J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris plus de 6 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Toyota Tsusho (Cambridge, ON) en avr. 2011

There is a standard application form which you must complete, much like McDonalds or other high-turn over company. HR will make you do this form before they even read your resume. In fact, most of their hiring is done from temp agencies or on contract basis -- it is very unusual for them to hire full time like a normal company., They will ask you very basic questions like "what does a trading company do" and "have you ever had a Japanese manager". Note, this company is racist, so you will have a much higher chance of being hired if you are female, and Asian, and especially Japanese.

Question 1
Are you Japanese? It's an easy question. But if you say yes, the next question will be "are you female?" In which case you will be hired. They don't ask or care much after that.

I was recommended by my lecturer to the company. Did a lot of online stuff and finally got interviewed twice. First with HR and the second with the Japanese representatives. The recruitment process took about 5 months due Covid-19
