Pretty straight forward. Initial with HR/Recruitment team and then leadership interviews (multiple).
Think some of the leadership may be just a bit - dare I say - lucky - i.e. they got hired early into a company that is in a market place that is growing exponentially of which they are the most established player.
Did not seem terribly fit or knowledgeable about how to come to market. How to maximize channels or potential cross pollination partnerships. Were seemingly committed and steadfast to "not changing" which is a quaint but just not a true reality for an organization that is growing 25% annually.
Egos were also off of the charts with constantly scheduled and rescheduled calls, late calls, foul language during the interviews, bragging about how they were too busy to read resumes before interviews, etc.
Would have to believe they will be purchased by one of the larger P&C/Life Insurance carriers or will need to overhaul upper management to ensure continued success. Seems pretty obvious the current team will not have the experience or bandwidth to handle.
