You’re right that we had some movement in the People team around that time, which did unfortunately cause delays in responses - that’s on us and we’ve since put more structure in place so candidates aren’t left waiting or unsure where they stand.
In regard to the video interview step - as we’ve scaled the TA team we’ve had to introduce an early filtering stage because of the volume of applications, with 7 million consumers we receive a lot of people who want to work at THM. The VI tool helps us screen more fairly and consistently and the questions are recorded by us rather than being generic so it still feels as personal as possible - we only ever used this for non-technical roles and recently moved away from using this at all,
On the culture piece, we’re pretty open that TryHackMe is fast-paced and intense. That’s intentional given the market we’re in and the stage we’re at, but it also means it won’t be the right fit for everyone, which I hope you see we are honest about. We’re growing quickly and, while that’s exciting, we don’t always get everything right first time.
Appreciate the feedback though, it genuinely helps us keep improving - I will certainly be looking at the concerns raised!
