They told me it consisted of 5 different steps: first and interview, then a take away coding challange, then a technical discussion, and finally a meetup with the complete company.

Question 1
It was a take away coding challenge that supposedly was something they were working on. The challange in itself is not hard. Hoewever, it was very vague on it's requirements, particularly, on which technologies to use.
