Entretien
You apply through online site. If you are shortlisted you shall pass a written technical exam and then an interview with a panel of at least 3 persons including 1 HR staff. It takes long time, 2 to 6 months sometimes. It takes 45 minutes. People are usually kind and this doesn't mean that they like you or will definitely choose you. The interview is usually composed of competency questions however it may include technical questions (direct or in scenario form).
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Written test:
- What are the persons of interest concerns?
- What is SGBV (definition and forms)?
- Speak about tools of SGBV prevention and response?
Interview questions are competency questions:
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
- Why you see yourself the best candidate for this post?
- Tell us about a situation when you completely failed to finalize your task.
- Scenario questions as: what if you had to choose between serving an applicant (with a serious concern) or go to a meeting with the representative?
Could you please clarify what exactly you would like me to improve? Are you preparing a formal report, an informal summary, or perhaps another type of document? Do you speak additional languages?

Question 1
Can you explain the difficult situation you handled?
I received a written test. They gave me 90 minutes. There were two main questions and following questions. It wasn't so hard. But the time is limitted. So you must already know the answers. The main porpuse is to measure your field experience. The questions are not related code of conducts rules. I have not received an invitation for competency-based interview yet, but I think I'll.

Question 1
It was a case study about national and international law. They gave me a vis-à-vis and they asked "which international protection status does fit it?"
Friendly and kind atmosphere. We were given an hour to answer the questions: 1. Protection - a description of the process in your own words + UNHCR's role 2. Case study (Organization of protection-related activities)
