there is no interview process, you are weighed to see if you fit the expectations of the air force, you can't have too many tattoos, and no criminal record. you have to pass the asvab to qualify for certain jobs. then you can either wait for an opening in that career field to join the military, or you can join in an open general field and get put into a career field that is available. They do try to match your first picks with you, I got my first choice job and I went in open general.
