Spoke to the recruiter for a formal phone screen. Within a week I was contacted by the hiring manager and subsequently asked to come in for a panel interview. The interviews were all standard but all involved couldn't be bothered to respond to emails/inquiries, set moving deadlines for when a decision would be made and in the end after months of "Oh things seem great, we should be calling you within x number of days", the position was given to someone else. The lack of care for the candidate and their time/effort is appalling but what do you expect from a company who can pull 10 other qualified people out of a pile at any given time.
